By watching the events of our Apostolic Assembly unfold before our very eyes, I can for sure say, that neither side has been praying, or if they had been praying, then the results of the prayers are being seen now.
Let me share what I saw on a video that our Bishop Leonardo Garcia presented in our Men's Camp, in Menard, TX.
God delivered Cali, Colombia
-where 7 members of the Cali Cartel lived and ruled
-made about $500 million per month from cocaine sales
-the city saw an average of 15 deaths per day on weekends
-a lot of witchcraft was encountered, and mediums were sought by the members of the cartel as well
-powers of darkness plus monetary power made these men invincible
The key to that city came from a Pastor that left the "Asociacion de Pastores"(Pastor's Association), because of a disagreement, but GOD told him to go back and apologize to all of them, because HE (God) had plans for this Pastor." The unity did not come at a cheap price, this Pastor was killed outside the church building where he was to attend a meeting with the Pastor's Association. Then, at his funeral, Pastors that did not even talk to each other, began talking and uniting efforts.
When Pastors & intercessors united for prayer and fasting, God began delivering the city from the hands of darkness. ( I will post an excerpt from the video later on) and the churches began to grow in an extraordinary manner. One church is quoted as to having 7 services during the day beginning at 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm. And the Pastor said that other churches were growing just as fast. They still hold prayer vigils = 60,000 inside the stadium, and about another 15,000 people marching outside the stadium, that is the transformations that GOD can have on a city when the Pastoral body unites. Imagine your entire city proclaiming JESUS IS LORD!!
So if the Almighty God can do things of this magnitude in that city, I think that God can do great things in our city, AA, Independent Church, and Missions; but the key will be unity.
Another Pastor said, it does not cost much, only "Santidad, Consagracion, Unidad, Oracion, y Ayuno" (Holiness, Consecration to the Lord, Unity, Prayer, and Fasting)
So if this is the way God is answering prayers, then like the Wife of the murdered Pastor said, "It is ok with my soul, because out of this, I know God is doing something greater" " this is what God wanted, so it is ok with my spirit"
I invite you to UNITE with me in Prayer and Fasting this Saturday at 6am August 16, 2008.
So that God can deliver us from the hands of the enemy, and of those that are being used for the enemy's purpose! But be strong in the power of HIS might, whatever the outcome of this, let our spirits be ok, because that is what GOD wants. And if you think this is ridiculous, then you are a great part of the cause that this chaos is here!
Our leaders(Pastors, Elders, Ministers, Teachers, Presidents & Board Members, Missionaries), our city, our communities, need INTERCESSORS.
So if you don't work, get this flesh out of bed every morning (yes, Monday -Sunday), and begin interceding for your organization, your local church, your local Pastor, your Ministerial Body. Sacrificing your body in prayer does the body and soul a lot of good, and begins to move Gods hand in a mighty way!
Titus 3:1-11 NAS
1.
Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good,
2.
to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.
3.
At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.
4.
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,
5.
he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
6.
whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7.
so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
8.
This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
9.
But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.
10.
Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him.
11.
You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.
